Forestry Resource Center & Multi-Use Building
The
Empire State Forestry Foundation has embarked on an exciting new project
to finance and construct a new office facility that will provide a
showcase for forest products and a focus for
promoting sustainable forestry and educational programming. A
North Greenbush, NY site has been selected and is under contract.
This site offers access from I-90 just east of Albany, NY and is within
10 minutes of most state government offices.Construction is anticipated for Spring of 2006. However, much needs to be done. We are nearly to our goal of raising $600,000! An additional $300,000 is required to complete the project. Take a minute to review the information on these pages.
We have also provided an on-line form you can use to pledge your support. Make a one-time contribution or pledge a commitment over the next year, two years or even three. Either way, you will be doing your part to assure that forestry and the forest products industry are well represented in New York State.
