About New York Forests Forever
New York Forests Forever is an educational program aimed
at providing information regarding New York forests, forest products and the
ways that professional resource managers work to balance the needs for quality
wood products while managing our forests for the environment at the same
time. The program revolves around a CD based computer program that
provides a unique look at New York's forests and the products that come from
them. Additional educational resources for teachers are available through
this web site and are being provided through various workshops around the state.

The program is sponsored by the Empire State Forestry
Foundation with the support of many other public
agencies, non profits and corporations.
