| We wanted to share with you our
excitement over the construction of the New York Forestry
Resource Center. This building is being constructed in a
partnership between ESFPA and the Empire State Forestry
Foundation. We will be updating this page regualry so you can follow the progress. Many of you have contributed to this project -- some in numerous ways. As a result, the building will help to tell the story of the many contributions made by New York's working and family forests and the people who work the land to provide these. It will also be a story about the many fine wood products that are produced locally and manufactured with great pride. The site for this building is located in the Town of North Greenbush. The address is 47 Van Alstyn Drive, Rensselaer, NY. It is right off Interstate 90 and is a short 8 minute drive to downtown Albany. |
